Skin Quality Improvement Hyaluronic Acid

What is Hyaluronic Acid Injection?

Hyaluronic acid is injected along the wrinkles to make them less noticeable.
The treatment takes only a few minutes, and there is no swelling afterward, allowing you to wash your face and apply makeup immediately.

Hyaluronic acid is a type of sugar that has long been used safely in treatments such as joint pain therapy.
The injected hyaluronic acid is gradually absorbed by the body, so the effects typically last about six months to one year. Once absorbed, the skin returns to its pre-injection state (the wrinkles do not become deeper than before).

It is suitable for improving deep wrinkles such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines, as well as dark shadows under the eyes.
For those who are hesitant to receive Botox injections for forehead or glabellar wrinkles, treatment with hyaluronic acid is an alternative.

Additionally, injecting hyaluronic acid into the “Gulgo line” (the shadow in the center of the cheeks) can lift the entire cheek area, giving the appearance of a subtle facelift.

  • ※One syringe is usually enough to treat both sides of the nasolabial folds. If injected into a smaller area, the entire syringe may not be used in a single session. In that case, the remaining amount can be used for another treatment.
  • ※There is generally no swelling after the procedure, but in rare cases, bruising may occur. If this happens, it can be covered with makeup for about two weeks until it fades.

What is Skin-Improvement Hyaluronic Acid?

Unlike the firm hyaluronic acid used for reshaping, soft hyaluronic acid—so-called non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid—is evenly injected into the skin.

By injecting it into the superficial layers of the skin (from the epidermis to the dermis), it stimulates fibroblasts, which produce collagen in the dermis, promoting collagen production and improving skin firmness.
This provides overall hydration and elasticity to the skin.

Skin-Improvement Hyaluronic Acid

The medication can be evenly injected into the skin at a depth of 1.0 mm to 2.0 mm, from the epidermis to the dermis.
Pain is minimal as the skin is gently suctioned during the procedure.
Another feature is that, compared to manual injections, there is no unevenness after the treatment.

Recommended for those with the following concerns

Lack of firmness, dullness, fine lines, rough skin, uneven skin tone, enlarged pores, lack of radiance, dryness

Duration and Downtime

It takes about one week for the effects to appear.
For first-time users, the effects last around 3–4 months, and with repeated treatments, the duration increases, lasting up to approximately 6 months.

Redness, bruising, and swelling may occur for about 2–3 days.
For those sensitive to pain, topical anesthesia is also available.
(Anesthesia: ¥2,200, tax included, applied for 30 minutes)
