Medical Art Makeup

What Is Medical Art Makeup?

Medical art makeup (permanent makeup) is a technique in which pigment is implanted into the very superficial layers of the skin using a specialized needle.

To ensure even and long-lasting color retention, the procedure is usually performed in two to three sessions. While the implanted pigment gradually fades over time, it does not disappear completely.

At our clinic, we take into account changes in facial features with age as well as trends in eyebrow shapes.
For this reason, we recommend a natural shape and color that are not overly influenced by trends, allowing the design to be slightly adjusted later with makeup if desired.

Natural Powder Brows
Natural Powder Brows

Fine dots of pigment are applied across the entire eyebrow to create a soft, shaded effect.

The result can range from a well-defined, pencil-drawn look to a light, airy finish similar to brows filled in with powder. Depending on your preferences, the brows can be designed to create a cool and intelligent impression or a gentle and soft appearance.

This technique blends well with all types of eyebrows and is not influenced by trends, making it a popular choice for people of all ages and genders.

4D Hair Stroke Brows

This technique involves drawing individual hair strokes one by one to create the appearance of natural eyebrow hairs.

Existing eyebrows are preserved, and additional strokes are added only where needed. By combining hair strokes with a soft powder technique, the result is a more dimensional and natural-looking finish.

The brows look natural immediately after the procedure and blend well with a bare face, making this technique very popular.

In addition, as eyebrows thin or develop gray hairs with age, adding hair strokes helps camouflage gray hairs and creates a more youthful appearance.

Men’s Permanent Makeup (Custom-Made Premium)

This treatment is recommended for those who are unsure how to shape or groom their eyebrows. The brows are carefully designed and refined while considering overall facial balance.

By combining techniques such as gradation, powder shading, and hair strokes, we create a customized result tailored to each client’s ideal look.

Simple Eyeliner

A fine line is applied between the lashes to fill in the gaps along the lash line. This simple design creates the appearance of fuller lashes and makes the eyes look more defined even without makeup.

Because the eyeliner does not smudge or run due to sweat or water, you can enjoy a clean, fresh look at all times without worrying about “panda eyes.”

Lip Blush

This treatment enhances the natural color of the lips, improving dullness and adding a healthy, vibrant tone that brightens the overall facial appearance. It can also define the lip contour and create the appearance of lifted mouth corners.

As the color does not fade with masks or eating, this long-lasting makeup treatment has become increasingly popular.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the procedure take?
Including consultation, design, anesthesia, the procedure itself, and aftercare, the total time is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
How many sessions are needed, and what is the interval between them?
Usually, 2–3 sessions are required. A single session may result in uneven pigment retention or slight asymmetry.
The final natural look is achieved over 2–3 sessions rather than in just one. Subsequent sessions are scheduled at least 1 month apart to allow the skin to fully recover.
Does the procedure hurt?
Anesthesia is applied before and during the procedure. Additional anesthesia is administered as needed while monitoring your comfort.
During the procedure, you may feel a tingling or pinching sensation similar to hair being plucked. Pain does not increase after the anesthesia wears off.
I’m concerned about allergies. Can I undergo the procedure?
Allergic reactions are a possible risk of permanent makeup.
The pigments used contain metal components such as iron oxide and titanium dioxide. If you have a metal allergy to these substances, we recommend a patch test prior to the procedure.
Please also consult us beforehand if you have allergies to anesthetics, other medications, metal in needles, or latex.
Can I undergo an MRI scan after getting permanent makeup?
In the past, there have been reports of burns or image interference during MRI scans due to metals in permanent makeup pigments.
However, pigment safety has significantly improved. The pigments used at our clinic are FDA-approved and have been confirmed safe for MRI scans.
For safety, we recommend waiting at least 2 weeks after the procedure before undergoing an MRI.
