Botulinum Injection
(Botox)

Clear, noticeable results in a short time.Small amounts are injected to avoid an unnatural facial appearance.

What is Botulinum Injection?

As expression lines deepen with age, you may notice pronounced lines around your eyes when looking in the mirror in the evening…
Horizontal forehead lines and vertical frown lines between the eyebrows may become more noticeable and bothersome.
For those concerns, Botulinum injections are recommended.

By injecting into the muscles that cause wrinkles, this treatment helps improve their appearance.
One of the advantages is that noticeable results can be achieved in a short period of time.
There is no swelling after the procedure, and you can wash your face and apply makeup on the same day.

Our Clinic’s Features of Botulinum Toxin Injections

Reliable Additional Adjustment System
Some people worry that their expressions might look unnatural after injections. To alleviate such concerns, our clinic uses a method of injecting small amounts gradually.
For the first session, we start with a minimal dose and ask you to observe the results for about a week.
If you wish to add more, you can come back within two weeks for a complimentary additional injection.*
Although it may take a little extra effort, this process is important to achieve the desired result.
Pain is minimized with a topical anesthetic cream
The injection takes only a few minutes and is not very painful, but for those who wish, a topical anesthetic cream can be used (an additional fee applies:¥2,200including tax).
Follow-up support in case of unexpected bruising

To reduce the risk of bruising and minimize pain, we offer ultra-fine needles (additional fee: 1,100 JPY).
If bruising does occur, it can be concealed with makeup such as concealer and will naturally disappear in about two weeks.

If you have an important event, it is recommended to complete Botulinum treatment at least three weeks in advance for peace of mind.
For those who are particularly concerned about post-injection bruising, we offer a complimentary treatment using high-frequency therapy to accelerate healing during your visit.

Please note that taking oral Vitamin E or other supplements may increase the likelihood of bruising.
If you are planning facial injections, we recommend discontinuing such supplements approximately three days prior to treatment.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Wrinkle Treatment with Botulinum Injections

Advantages

  • Significant results can be achieved with a small amount of injection (expression lines are mostly eliminated).
  • Treatments are typically required only 2–3 times per year, and each session takes about 10 minutes.
  • There is virtually no downtime except for possible bruising.
  • The risk of allergic reactions is extremely low.
  • Regular treatments can help prevent the progression of wrinkles.

Disadvantages

  • If the injection site or dose is incorrect, the effect may be too strong, resulting in unnatural facial expressions.
  • Excessive injection in the forehead can cause heavy eyelids and may lead to headaches.
  • If the effect is too strong, you must wait for it to naturally subside. (Unlike hyaluronic acid, there is no dissolving agent; typically, the excessive effect improves in about two months.)
  • Both men and women should avoid pregnancy for about three months after the injection.
  • Repeated Botulinum treatments may lead to resistance, reducing the duration of effectiveness. (There are different types of Botulinum products, and those with higher purity are said to be less likely to cause resistance.)

The most suitable treatment varies depending on the individual’s facial structure, age, muscle condition, wrinkle patterns, and desired results.

Many people have been receiving Botulinum treatments for over 10 years, but muscle conditions may have changed compared to a decade ago.
In some cases, it may be necessary to reassess the injection sites or dosage of Botulinum. Reducing the amount of Botulinum and combining it with other treatments—such as hyaluronic acid, Juvelook injections, or laser therapy—may provide better results.

It is important to consult thoroughly with your physician and choose the treatment method that best suits you.

Improves wrinkles and pores!
For overall skin tightening

Skin Botox
(Micro Botox)

Not only improves wrinkles and pores,
but is also effective for prevention.

What is Skin Botox?

Unlike injections that are administered into the muscles responsible for facial expressions (such as the glabella, forehead, chin, or masseter) to reduce muscle movement, this treatment involves injecting botulinum toxin into the superficial layers of the skin (from the epidermis to the dermis).

It aims to minimize pores, tighten the overall skin, improve fine wrinkles and sagging, and reduce sebum production.

This procedure is commonly referred to as Skin Botox or Micro Botox.

Effects of Skin Botox

Since this method does not stop muscle movement like traditional injections, you can maintain natural facial expressions after the treatment.

In addition to improving existing wrinkles and pores, it is also effective in preventing future wrinkles and pore enlargement.
Its main effects are improvement of wrinkles and fine lines and skin tightening.

Duration and Downtime

It takes about one week for the effects to appear.
For first-time patients, the effects typically last 3–4 months, and with repeated treatments, the duration can extend up to about 6 months.

Mild redness, bruising, or swelling may occur for 2–3 days.
For those sensitive to pain, topical anesthesia is also available.
Anesthesia: ¥2,200 (tax included) for 30 minutes of application.
